Quicktips: Choosing a Stroller
Choosing a pram or stroller can be quite headache.
In additional to the price and brands below is a list of tips that may be helpful.
1. It must be lightweight as one has to lift it onto transportation such as MRT, buses or plane.
2. It must be easily collapsible. Usually 1 to 3 folds is able to completely fold up and secure the stroller. Once folded, it should not spring open (e.g. in the boot of a car).
3. It must have good brakes and must be able to activate them easily during emergency.
4. It must have excellent steering and good quality wheels. Do check the wheels and steering mechanism for smoothness in turning and maneuvering.
5. Choose a stroller with handrails that are at the right height so one doesn’t have to stoop to push it. Some brands do have adjustable handrails.
6. Choose a stroller that can safely store some baby’s accessories such as diaper bag etc.
